Rocket League is to say goodbye to loot boxes wihtin the game.
In a new blog post Psyonix has said “Here at Psyonix, and Epic Games as a whole, we are dedicated to creating the best possible experience for our players all over the world, In pursuit of that goal, later this year we will remove all paid, randomized Crates from Rocket League, replacing them with a system that shows the exact items you’re buying in advance.“
Not all microtransactions are going from the game though, items that you know you’re getting such as the rocket pass, DLC vehicles etc will still stay, its just the random elements that are being taken away.
Which is this writers opinion, is how it should be, you should be able to see what you’re getting for your money.
